I've recently written a brief analysis of the Cake motorcycles. Cake was probably the leader in the European electric motorcycle market. They raised over $ 74 million in funding and launched six different motorcycle models.
Apparently, a lot of what we were seeing from the outside didn't correspond to sales. According to TechEU, Cake sold only 6,000 motorcycles during the course of its life--a claim I cannot confirm.
